"Okazaki Castle Tenshukaku & Otemon Projection Mapping 2025," produced by HITOHATA,INC. will be held from Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Okazaki Castle Park in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. (Organized by: Okazaki City Nighttime Economy Promotion Council)
This event serves as the main program of the "Okazaki Digital Art Night Festival," a media arts celebration set in Okazaki City. The projection mapping will illuminate the iconic Tenshukaku (main keep) of Okazaki Castle—one of Japan's Top 100 Castles—and the Otemon Gate, the grand entrance to Okazaki Castle Park. Inspired by the cultural heritage of Tokugawa Ieyasu and Okazaki's unique history, this spectacular display celebrates the city's rich cultural and historical legacy.
Admission is free, and no prior registration is required.
Enjoy a dazzling night in Okazaki, the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu, brought to life through stunning projection mapping.

At Okazaki Castle Tenshukaku, a six-minute projection mapping program will be shown continuously with a three-minute intermission between presentations.
At Otemon Gate, a four-minute projection mapping program will be shown continuously.
The same content will be viewable regardless of the time you visit.
In case of rain, the projection mapping may be temporarily suspended or canceled.

Approximately 15 minutes on foot from Meitetsu Higashi Okazaki Station

From Meitetsu Higashi Okazaki Station, take a bus from Platform 4 via Kosei-cho, alight at Kosei-cho, and walk approximately 5 minutes
From JR Okazaki Station, take a bus toward Kosei-cho, alight at Kosei-cho, and walk approximately 5 minutes
By car
Approximately 3 km toward Nagoya from the Okazaki IC on the Tomei Expressway

As the main program of the "Okazaki Digital Art Night Festival," this projection mapping event will showcase videos inspired by the cultural heritage of Tokugawa Ieyasu and Okazaki's unique history. [Requests for Visitors]
When taking photos or videos of the projection mapping, please refrain from using flash photography, drone photography, or long-duration tripod usage at the front during crowded times. Also, avoid rapid shutter sounds during crowded periods; instead, use silent mode if possible. With smartphones, video recording is recommended due to the fast movements in the visuals.
If using a tripod, ensure that the camera position does not exceed the height of the photographer's head (excluding official recording staff). Please refrain from using ladders or other equipment that does not make contact with the ground.
Please note that you may appear in photographs or videos taken by staff or media covering the event.
