Okazaki Castle Projection Mapping 2023

Okazaki City Night Time Economy Promotion Council held "Okazaki Castle Projection Mapping 2023" produced by HITOHATA,INC. was held at Okazaki Castle (Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) from January 20 (Fri) to 22 (Sun), 2022.

This event was held in conjunction with the broadcast of the NHK Taiga Drama "Dousuru Ieyasu" and the opening of the "Dousuru Ieyasu Okazaki Taiga Drama Museum." Projection mapping images sublimating the culture and historical traditions of Okazaki City were projected on the Okazaki Castle Keep, one of Japan's 100 famous castles and birthplace of Ieyasu Tokugawa.

In conjunction with the projection mapping, "Okazaki Park Digital Lighting" was held at the same time, in which various spots in Okazaki Park will be lit up with digital lights.

*This project was adopted by the Agency for Cultural Affairs' “Japan Cultural Expo“ 2022 as a project to promote the utilization of cultural resources.
